Alright, everyone. I'm going to be swift and frank about these rules here. Follow them, and you will be in the clear!
1. No spam.
Spamming can be classified as multiple posts in a row, advertising, off-topic posts, posting in areas not specified to your own character, and being a general... well... you know what.
2. No harassment.
All of you students are smart enough to know what this is. Don't do it or you'll be Azkabanned.
3. Be literate.
dun type lyk dis or u will b d-leet'd.
4. Be literate. (Seriously.)
No one wants to chat with someone that doesn't have a good grasp of basic spelling and grammar. Keep your posts readable! This includes typing in well-thought out paragraphs, using quotations for your words as necessary, proper grammar, and spell check.
5. Be creative.
We're magical! We have powers beyond this muggle world! Use them! Don't stick to thinking in your muggle mind. When thinking about ways to complete your assignments, be creative and remember that you have a wand. Harry Potter is all about possibilities!
6. Be appropriate!
This forum is rated PG-13. Some areas, mainly in courses, may touch above that with professor moderation. General rule is, if you question it, it's best to leave it out. A post will follow this about what is allowed in general and what is not.
7. Be nice!
Self-explanatory. Treat others how you wish to be treated or else you will suffer the consequences. I promise.
8. Listen to the Professors and admins.
If they tell you to change something, to remove something, or to stop doing something, listen to them. Otherwise, they will either send you to Azkaban or delete and block you from the site.
9. Have fun!
If I need to explain this, you shouldn't be here.
